Myra Moore – Dallas, TX
Myra is founder and president of Digital Tech Consulting. She also serves as the firm’s chief analyst. Myra has more than 15 years of experience as a market research director, technology analyst and business journalist. Myra has served in analyst positions for Paul Kagan Associates and Parks Associates, where she also served as research director. She has written about technology for a variety of news outlets including The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Dallas Morning News and the Knight Ridder News Service.
Myra contributes to the high-tech industry in a variety of ways such as a serving as a frequent panelist and moderator at industry conferences, a judge for the Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame, a member of the Academy of Digital Television Pioneers, and a member of the International CES Conference Advisory Board.
Shelby Cunningham – Dallas, TX
DTC’s Associate Analyst - Shelby is a research centric associate analyst. She manages The Weekly Riff: Technically Not a Blog, aids in website management, and conducts baseline research for senior analysts. Shelby previously worked as a part-time intern at DTC for several years while earning her Bachelors degree, and has rejoined DTC as a full-time associate analyst. She holds a Bachelors of Arts and Performance from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Antonette Goroch – San Francisco, CA
DTC’s Senior Analyst specializing in digital set-top boxes, mobile devices and services for digital rights management and digital content protection. She is the primary author of DTC’s content protection report as well as the online media services report. Antonette has been an analyst and executive in the media industry for over 10 years covering areas including cable, digital broadcast satellite, consumer electronics, Internet, digital video and music. She has authored expert analyses focusing on digital media entertainment and technology for firms including Paul Kagan Associates, Adams Media Research, Cowles Business Media and the Carmel Group where she was vice president. Antonette is a frequent panelist at industry conferences.
Lucas Graves – New York, NY
DTC’s Senior Analyst specializing in mobile devices and services, and prerecorded packaged media. Lucas has worked in the information technology industry and its markets for more than nine years. He also writes and reports on subjects including digital music and movies, mobile devices, wireless access, emerging markets and small business marketing strategies. Lucas was a senior analyst at Jupiter Research, where he covered consumer Internet technologies and later reviewed the Latin American markets. Lucas has his Master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University, where he is now pursuing doctoral research in Communications.
Maya Jasmin – Dallas, TX
DTC's Project Manager. Working with all analysts and in-house staff, Maya contributes to, edits, and assembles research projects. Maya comes from a manufacturing background where she was involved in production data analysis and specialized in desktop application design from 2001-2005. During her tenure her responsibilities included, but were not limited to, application design, database and server maintenance, inventory control, and PC and peripherals maintenance. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Dwight D. Look College of Engineering at Texas A&M University.
Julie E. Schlembach – Austin,TX
DTC's Associate Analyst specializing in video communications market research and advising DTC on technical specifications. Julie has worked in the high-tech industry for several years as an Application Engineer, Web Programmer, and Project/Program Manager. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rice University as well as a Masters in Music Technology from New York University.
Scott Toussaint – Indianapolis, IN
DTC’s Director of Business Development - Scott identifies and creates new business opportunities for DTC, as well as aids in the creation of marketing and brand-development strategies for the company. Scott’s business background spans for more than 30 years and includes the creation and management of several small businesses, one of which grew to more than 1,000 employees. Scott’s educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Illinois in Chicago, as well as three Masters Degrees and a Ph.D. in Communications and Leadership, with Emphasis on Team Dynamics and Growth, from Louisiana Baptist University.
Sean Wargo – Falls Church, VA
DTC’s Senior Analyst specializing in video games, home A/V technologies, and the worldwide transition to digital terrestrial television. Sean has been involved in research and analysis in the technology industry for nearly 15 years in a variety of roles. Most recently he was the Director of Industry Analysis at the Consumer Electronics Association where he managed the shipment data program, prepared written analysis, and spoke about industry trends to the media, financial analysts, and conference audiences. Sean has been often quoted in the media, including The New York Times, The LA Times, The Chicago Tribune, and The Wall Street Journal.
Stewart Wolpin – New York, NY
DTC’s Senior Analyst specializing in consumer electronics products including high definition television, optical disc devices and camcorders. Stewart has been writing about consumer electronics products for a variety of international publications for more than 20 years. Stewart also has made numerous television appearances on such shows as The Today Show, Fox's Good Day New York, CBS Market Watch and weekly live gadget demonstrations on CNNfn. Stewart is also the author of Switched on: the Official Guide to Buying and Connecting Consumer Electronics Products and the author of a history of the consumer electronics industry. Stewart also is a founding elector of the Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame.
